A Life Worth Living
STARTS WITH YOU

Welcome.

I like to joke that in the Boulder area you can throw a pebble and it will hit three therapists before it hits the ground. In other words, there are a lot of therapists here! So how do you choose? Well early on it comes down to a gut feeling--do you believe this therapist is someone who will believe in you, take the time to really get to know you, and value the precious time and money you are investing in yourself? I can only promise that I will constantly strive for these qualities in working with you.

I love working with teens and young adults who are struggling with chronic depression, suicidal ideation, and trauma in ways that are affecting relationships, academics, and athletic performance. Combining contemplative psychology with the latest neuroscience research and tried-and-true methods of psychotherapy, I aim to help make sense of your confusion, rediscover your meaning, engage in your relationships with friends and family, and make improvements in your school and sport performance.

If you want to connect more deeply in your relationships with the people you love; if you want to find meaning and thrive in your work; and if you want to laugh again and enjoy doing things that you love to do, let's meet.

I think that we can do great work together.

Let's Meet

I know you have a wide range of choices when you are choosing a therapist; and frankly, I am more invested in making sure there is a good fit between you and your therapist. So let's meet. It starts with a FREE 15-minute phone consultation. From there we may decide to meet in-person for an initial 50-minute session gives us the best chance to get to know one another, figure out what you want to work on, and discuss specific ways therapy can be helpful to your unique needs.
